Gate
My collaboration with Gate began in the fall of 2022 when I connected with Valerio Sinatra, the DJ/Producer and founder of Gate, a leading event organizer in Stockholm’s techno scene.
The Event Videographer:
I was hired as a videographer and content producer to capture, showcase and promote their techno events in Stockholm.
GATE RESET
In 2023, Gate hosted the event Reset, for which I was hired to create a series of promotional videos. Since the event was held at a venue I had filmed before, I already had footage of the venue packed with people. To play on the theme of ‘Reset,’ we filmed the venue while it was empty and then creatively transitioned from an empty space to a vibrant, full venue – as if the venue was being reset to its true state.
A SERIES OF PROMOS
For Gate Reset, I created a series of short promotional videos for social media. The strategy was to build anticipation by releasing small teasers, gradually increasing the hype before revealing the full event details.
THE PRE-PRODUCTION
This is an example of how I prepare for a video shoot. I use proven pre-production techniques such as scripting, moodboarding, and storyboarding to ensure a clear vision and smooth execution.
AFTER-MOVIE
My first job for Gate was to film an after-movie for the event featuring techno-queen Deborah De Luca. I was hired last minute, leaving little time for pre-production, but I aimed to create a captivating after-movie inspired by the style of major event organizers like Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.
