As a content producer and filmmaker, I believe it’s essential to remember why I started creating in the first place. It wasn’t about making money – it was about storytelling and sharing meaningful narratives. That’s why I find it crucial to pursue passion projects, creating without the pressure of payment, purely for the love of filmmaking. This is truly me.

FOR YOURSELF

This short film was created during my Individual Project at Hyper Island – but more than that, it was a personal passion project.

It started over lunch with artist Victoria Todorova, where she casually mentioned she hadn’t painted in years because she didn’t feel good enough. Those words stuck with me.

Later that evening, I began developing a concept for a short, poetic cinematic piece about creativity, self-doubt, and identity. I built a pitch deck and reached out to Victoria with the idea. She said yes.

It felt like a story worth telling – not just for her, but for anyone who’s ever doubted their own creativity.
