Passion Projects

As a content producer and filmmaker, I believe itโ€™s essential to remember why I started creating in the first place. It wasnโ€™t about making money โ€“ it was about storytelling and sharing meaningful narratives. Thatโ€™s why I find it crucial to pursue passion projects, creating without the pressure of payment, purely for the love of filmmaking. This is truly me.

FOR YOURSELF

This short film was created during my Individual Project at Hyper Island โ€“ but more than that, it was a personal passion project.

It started over lunch with artist Victoria Todorova, where she casually mentioned she hadnโ€™t painted in years because she didnโ€™t feel good enough. Those words stuck with me.

Later that evening, I began developing a concept for a short, poetic cinematic piece about creativity, self-doubt, and identity. I built a pitch deck and reached out to Victoria with the idea. She said yes.

It felt like a story worth telling โ€“ not just for her, but for anyone whoโ€™s ever doubted their own creativity.

As I continue to grow as a content producer and filmmaker, Iโ€™m always curious to explore new creative approaches and expand my filmmaking experience. These passion projects allow me to experiment with storytelling, cinematography, and editing without any limitations. Below are some experimental films Iโ€™ve created purely out of passion.

Travel Filmmaking:

Iโ€™ve always loved to travel. As a child, Iโ€™d carry my fatherโ€™s camera and capture moments on our family trips. As I grew older, I used my phone and GoPro to document my adventures in Southeast Asia, igniting my passion for travel filmmaking. This love for exploring new places and telling stories through travel videos is something Iโ€™ll never lose. Iโ€™m determined to continue creating cinematic travel films wherever my journey takes me.
